100 Twitter Hashtags Every Writer Should Know

Since being invented, the hashtag has made it easy for Twitter users to discover topics of importance, or strong interest.  Writers can use Twitter to promote projects, connect with peers and potential customers, and discover tools that will help them hone their craft. There is a right way, and a wrong way to use hastags. The hashtags you use should be relevant to your writing, brand, and the audience you’re trying to connect with whether they are peers, or consumers. Your entire tweet shouldn’t be made up of hashtags. If you’re lost on which hashtags you should be using, Aerogramme Writers’ Studio had the forethought to create a cheat sheet.

We’re not sure if Chris Messina reads kid lit blogs, but we’d like to thank him for this handy invention. You should send him a #gratitude tweet sometime.
