Kid Industries Pop-Up Conference, Pink Versus Blue

When did we start deciding a particular toy, or book was for boys, and another for girls? Why did it ever become acceptable to color code toys — even if they are the same exact product — pink or blue to denote which sex was supposed to enjoy the item. Kid Industries’ pop-up conference aims to explore the pinkification of toys, books, and other child specific items.

The free conference, which kicks off on October 30th is full, but a waitlist is open.
