Alexandra Bracken has landed a coveted spot as the latest author to sign on to write one of the middle grade books in the Star Wars saga. Bracken, the author of the bestselling The Darkest Minds series will write Star Wars: Episode IV, A New Hope: Being the Story of Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, and the Rise of the Rebellion. Due in the summer of 2015 from Disney-Lucasfilm Press, the illustrated novel and its accompanying books are based on the original Star Wars trilogy.
