How did the Queen in “Bubblegum Princess”come to be? Hanson discusses the complex process she and author Julie Gribble used to create Her Royal Highness. Together they explored different placements, color schemes, and hair. Everything down to her shoes had to be right, and regal. Hanson even took a few nods from 1920’s and 1930’s INKBLOT Cartoons, and “Peanuts” creator Charles Schultz.
