📣 KIDLIT TV KID QUOTE OF THE WEEK: "I'm so good at drawing." 🍁
We ❤️ this KLTV Kiddo's confident quote on our Ready Set Draw! video featuring Aimée Sicuro showing kids how to create leaf art from her picture book IF YOU FIND A LEAF.
📖 About the book: In IF YOU FIND A LEAF, a young artist gathers colorful, fallen leaves & imagines each one into something new: a Japanese Zelkova leaf becomes a boat; a Honey Locust becomes a swing; and an American Basswood becomes a hot air balloon. Each illustration is made with a REAL leaf! 🍂
🎬 The perfect autumn activity to make at home or in the classroom -- join Aimée and learn how to make your own leaf art on Ready Set Draw! Watch here 👉 www.kidlit.tv/IfYouFindALeafReadySetDraw
🍎 Teachers, librarians, & parents: CALLING ALL KIDLIT TV KIDS! We want to hear what YOUR kids think. Leave us their review in the comments & we'll share our favorites here each week.

🍂🎨 APPLE PICKING, PUMPKIN PATCHES, & COLORFUL LEAVES GALORE! The seasons are changing, and our freshly UPDATED book & activity pairings are full of inspiration for fall! 🧡
🍎 Teachers, librarians, & parents, here's one of our favorite pairings of the bunch:
🍂 In IF YOU FIND A LEAF by Aimée Sicuro, a young artist gathers fallen leaves & imagines each one into something new. A Japanese Zelkova becomes a boat, a Honey Locust becomes a swing -- and if your kiddo does the paired activity from Unlocking fun, colorful leaves they find become a fox tail. 🦊
🎬 You can join Amy for more fun with leaves on Ready Set Draw! Head outside and collect a few that you like, look at their shapes, & collage along with her 👉 www.kidlit.tv/IfYouFindALeafReadySetDraw
📚 Plus apple pie crafts, leaf suncatchers, a paper bag chipmunk, & LOTS more books 👉 www.kidlit.tv/KidLitCrafts&ActivitiesFALL
