“Seven Impossible Things” blog features Austrian illustrator Lisbeth Zwerger. Zwerger’s illustrations from two books featured are: The Pied Piper of Hamlin and The Night Before Christmas. The illustrations for both of these books were created a few years ago, but are being released now. The Kirkus review writes of The Pied Piper of Hamlin:
This strange and unsettling tale is made all the stranger and more unsettling by Zwerger’s spare, isolated figures in their pale interiors and landscapes.
