Twilight has been one of the best-selling vampire romance phenomenons for, can you believe it, ten years now! In honor of the 10th anniversary, Twilight author Stephenie Meyer has written a 442-page novel that re-imagines the story of the Twilight franchise that made her a publishing sensation. But it isn’t any ordinary re-imagining. This time Meyer has switched the genders of her beloved protagonists Edward and Bella. Can you believe it?
In the new novel titled Life and Death: Twilight Reimagined, Bella Swan is now a boy named Beau (short for Beaufort) and the debonair vampire Edward Cullen is now Edythe. Meyer also has some surprises in store like our shape-shifting werewolf protagonist Jacob Black is now called Julie. Meyer appeared on Good Morning America on Tuesday and gives us all of the juicy details. She even has a new cover reveal for the novel.
We love to hear from YOU!
