Event | Lit World’s World Read Aloud Day, 2/24/2016

On February 24, 2016 Lit World encourages children, parents, teachers, other educators, and librarians to read aloud. Lit World’s World Read Aloud Day (#WRAD16) champions the importance of telling stories no matter where one is around the globe.

Lit World provides participants with all the tools they need to spread the word about, and to participate in World Read Aloud Day. Visitors can download community kits, classroom kits, schedule a virtual read aloud and more. Also, Lit World has a downloadable picture book, New Day, New Friends, which includes a discussion and activity guide.

I’ll be Skyping with 5 different schools that day, kids in grades 1-7 in states from NJ to IL! I do this every year and just love it.
