If you’re in Utah and looking for a play to take your kids to, check out this play co-written by a kid himself! “Climbing with Tigers” was originally a book written by a youngster in the Salt Lake City area. The Salt Lake Acting Company discovered the book and adapted it into an amazing play. The book was a collaboration between Dallas Graham and
Nathan Glad.
Dallas Graham is the founder of the
Red Fred Project. The Red Fred Project works with one child with a critical illness in each of the 50 states to co-create a book. The first book published was “Climbing with Tigers” and we’re so pleased to see it adapted for the stage. Nathan Glad has osteogenesis imperfecta, also known as brittle bone disease. Glad and his family have brought much needed attention to this illness.
This play is running from now until March 27th.
“Through a captivating combination of music, storytelling, animation, and film, CLIMBING WITH TIGERS tells the story of a little black bird named Blue who dreams of one day being able to fly.”
