Teachers are such a gift to the world! Let’s celebrate them with these fun ideas shared on Pinterest for Teacher Appreciation Day (May 3). We’ve found quite a few special ways to say thank you to your child’s teacher this year.
Teacher Appreciation Day
We send our children to school knowing that teachers are there to help them with whatever they need at school. They encourage them each day to achieve, to grow, and to become successful students. Teachers have a way of finding that magical way to help our children understand difficult concepts while managing a room full of kids; they are our everyday super heroes. Let’s take time this month to share our gratitude for teachers. KidLit TV knows teachers rock, so we decided we’d turn to one of our favorite sources for finding creative ways to say thank you. It’s Pinterest! We even made a special Pinterest board for teacher gifts.
Here are some ways to celebrate your favorite educators during Teacher Appreciation Week (May 2 to 6).
Take time with your child this weekend to create a special gift to share with their teachers. We chose pins to projects that kids can help make, and gifts we know teachers will appreciate receiving. Trust us, we asked them. Choose a project below, then add a special note from the heart to show your child’s teacher they are truly appreciated.

Thank You Teachers from KidLit TV
We’re grateful for all the women and men who’ve chosen teaching as their career path. Teachers give quite a bit of their personal time to their classrooms and provide a lot of materials too. Don’t forget all the teachers in your child’s life throughout the school that work as support faculty too!
Join the National Education Association and National Parent Teacher Association in saying thank you by sharing a photo — or few words — on social media with this hashtag: #ThankATeacher. Go ahead and add #kidlittv so we can be sure to share with our community too!
