“BIRDS OF A FEATHER started as a song, written for all the sweet little people in my life – to share the magic of music, as an individual and when made with others, and help kids easily absorb educational content (cooperation, kindness, inclusion, basic counting and figurative language, instrument sounds, etc.!) in a fun, interactive way. It also came out of a desire to make some high quality music that would be fun for both kids and their adults to listen to on repeat!
When I wanted to make the song into a book + song experience, I immediately thought of Ya Chin, whose beautiful work ranges from hyperrealistic oil portraits to the mischievous pencil-drawn little girl who stars in her recent book, “The Window.” This collaboration has been a complete labor of love and is being produced through my new little venture, The Kokoro Collective.”

THANK YOU for bringing this wonderful book to my attention. The tune is catchy and the message is a terrific one to share with children.
