This podcast is hosted by a wildlife biologist and covers all things nature – the environment, sustainability, animals and more.
Earth Rangers is on its second season exploring the deep jungle, the frozen Arctic and splashing around some wetlands. As climate change disasters are becoming more of an issue, this is a great option to get kids involved in fighting for climate justice.
Goodnight Stories For Rebel Girls
Based on the best-selling book series Goodnight Stories For Rebel Girls, this podcast is full of the same stories about women who inspire us. Some of the well-known and some are still very much hidden figures. The common theme among all of these women and girls: dream bigger, aim higher and fight harder.

A really important note; this podcast is not just for girls. Women role models are for everyone. The whole family will enjoy these interesting, well-told stories.

Each week, a different kid co-host joins Molly Bloom to find answers to fascinating questions about the world. The mission is to encourage kids’ natural curiosity and wonder using science and history.
As an adult, I love hearing the laughter of kids listening to Smash Boom Best. It is a debate show for kids and families from the makers of the award-winning podcast, Brains On. Every episode takes two cool things, smashes them together and let’s you decide which is best. Cats versus Dogs. Pizza versus Tacos. Super Speed versus Super Strength. In other words, it’s wildly entertaining.
You can listen to Brains On! at home, on the go, or even as kids nodding off to sleep on your favorite podcast app. Pro-Tip: Select episodes of Brains On! also available on YouTube.

The show is hosted by kidlit maven and uber librarian, Betsy Bird, with theme music composed and performed by Andrew VanWyngarden, Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter/musician and co-founder of MGMT.
