Creativity Corner with Terry Shay — Talking About International Dot Day

This month in Creativity Corner, Terry Shay gathered ten educators with great ideas on making
your International Dot Day celebration spectacular!

Talking About International Dot Day

International Dot Day is celebrated each year on September 15th-ISH. It is a day of creativity that started in 2009 and has been celebrated by over 17 million people in 185 countries. The idea is to make a dot using any medium you like. It was inspired by Peter H. Reynolds’ book, THE DOT.

This summer I gathered ten educators who have celebrated Dot Day for multiple years to talk about their experiences. Please see the resources below to make your celebration extra special. Be sure to follow my guests in this episode to see their celebrations!
If you celebrate, be sure to sign up on the official website and post your creations on social media using #InternationalDotDay
