Hi,
I always marvel at the enjoyment children and adults get when they hear this fun book read to them. It is filled with beautiful poetry and fun illustrations. I urge the readers to follow-up with Birthday at the Panda Palace as well. Stephanie did a great job with her reading of the book too.
Thanks KidLit for bringing this book to the attention of your viewers as well.
Enjoy the day!

It’s my pleasure, Stephanie! You share such an important and sweet message in this book: there’s always room for one more :-)
Delightful! I love a little rhyme in my picture book, as do my 3rd graders. We will enjoy this tomorrow on World Read Aloud Day. Can’t wait!
Super! If you can, send us pics!
I watched and read “Dinner at the Panda Palace.” I liked it because the character of the Panda was really polite, like when there were no more spots at the restaurant, she made one for the mouse. That was an enjoyable book!
Thanks so much for posting, Andrea. I hope your 3rd graders enjoyed hearing the story. Best, Stephanie
Thanks so much, Lily! Best, Stephanie

53 customers!!!!! wow! that is a hard working panda!!!
Ha! He has a great staff! Hope to see you there. ?
I was first introduced to Dinner at the Panda Palace by my sister who was collecting books for her son’s pre-school. He is now 26 years old. Having read this book to many young students over the years, each time I am pleasantly surprised by a closer look at the illustrations and appreciation of the values expressed – there is always room enough for everyone. Dinner at the Panda Palace is a delightful departure from the good versus evil fiction present in much of children’s literature. This is a book I will enjoy with my first grade students during Read Across America, 2021.
Thank you so much for this thoughtful comment, Anne! ?
