Our household has been anticipating the holiday season for months now! Truth-be-told, we put our Christmas tree up two days after Halloween.
It’s 2020, there are no rules :)
But now that the calendar has officially flipped to December, I think it’s time to get into the Holiday spirit with some of these heartwarming multicultural children’s books about holidays around the world.
Let’s start off with a great list from long-time Multicultural Children’s Book Day CoHost and fellow diverse book appreciator, Svenja from Colours of Us. This list is great because it includes books for a wide range of ages and reading levels. Check out Svenja’s full list of 40 Multicultural Children’s Books about Christmas.
Linda from Bicultural Mama has pulled together a booklist that is not only beautiful, it features bilingual books as well! Check out her list of 9 BILINGUAL BOOKS ABOUT HANUKKAH.
We would be remiss if we didn’t include a wonderful diverse booklist that showcases Christmas and the holiday spirit as we know it best. Katie from YouthLitReviews has just such a booklist HERE.
