StoryMakers with Laura Vaccaro Seeger RED

Colors aren’t just for looking at — they can make us feel emotions too! Join two-time Caldecott Honor Award-winning, author/illustrator, Laura Vaccaro Seeger for StoryMakers as she tells us the story behind her new picture book, RED, talks about the emotions evoked by colors, and shares some of the paintings she created for the book!

RED is part of a trilogy of picture books about colors including GREEN and BLUE.

Which color would you choose to write a book about?
Tell us in the comments below and share two reasons why you would choose that color.
For example, Rocco chose yellow because it is a bright, happy color like sunshine, but it also makes him think of the taste of sour lemons too! Now you try!
