About Susan Lubner – Author, Drag & Rex

Susan Lubner writes books and poetry for young readers. She is the winner of the Christopher Award, the winner of a Society of Children’s Book Writers & Illustrators Crystal Kite Award, a Junior Library Guild Gold Selection honoree, a finalist for the Golden Kite Award for Nonfiction for Younger Readers, and a Charlotte Huck Award Recommended author. Susan holds a MFA from Vermont College of Fine Arts and has presented workshops on writing for children and young adults throughout Europe and the United States.

About Blythe Russo – Illustrator, Drag & Rex

Blythe Russo is an author and illustrator. Her books include Sloth Sleeps Over, Posie the Pika by Paige Braddock, A Flood of Kindness by Ellen Leventhal, and One More Wheel by Colleen AF Venable. When she’s not drawing, you can find her sewing, building puppets, or in the kitchen on a never-ending quest for the perfect chocolate chip cookie recipe.
