About Norene Olsen
Norene Olsen is an author, storyteller, educator, and a veteran with a deep passion for inspiring creativity. Now a great-grandmother, she still loves to dress up and entertain children as she shares her delightful stories, which teach important life lessons.
Norene spent several years nurturing young minds as a high school English and journalism teacher before serving 20 years in the United States Air Force.
After her military service, she returned to teaching as an Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps Instructor where she received multiple “Teacher of the Year” awards. Her many military awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal, and National Service Medal.
Through her journey—marked by service, leadership, and a deep passion for teaching, Norene hopes to inspire others to follow their own creative paths.
