What a wonderful presentation Lisa! I enjoyed listening from start to finish and I am a huge fan of Picture Book Biographies. I only wish when I began teaching way back books like this were available. When I became a Library Teacher in Williamsburg, Brooklyn they would have been perfect however, the Picture Book Genre didn’t have that many to select from and of course the budget given to us only permitted me to order one or two copies so I did the best I could running one or two Book Fairs a year to get a few extra dollars to purchase much needed supplies. The people and subjects you have chosen so far are spot on and I look forward to seeing what your next books will be. Yes, I enjoy the books that your husband has illustrated thus but I also love all of your books. Wishing you success with your next books and endeavors.
